So who is eWine anyway? eWine was conceived on the 26th of October 2004. The catalyst? Bagles, a couple of friends and a few Heinekins in a local guest house. It took 5 months for us to get the website developed and we went live with 10 wineries and 36 wines on the 3rd of March 2005. Currently we have over 5450 wines listed and more than 300 producers with 10 000+ buyers. The eWine list is growing daily. eWine receives 29 000 - 40 000+ unique visitors per month with 650 000 + page impressions.

	Christian Selbach - Senior Partner and Co-Founder Optimistic and highly knowledgeable about South Africa and South African wine. Christian was an investment banker for 20 years in Europe and is now involved full time with eWine. It has been a life-long dream to live and work in South Africa and Christian and his family immigrated to Paarl from Celle, Germany, in April 2009.
	Hans-Joachim von Goebler - Partner eWine GmbH Aka Jochen (who is larger than life) to those who have met him. A keen gastronome who is extremely passionate about South African wine, food and culture! Jochen heads up the eWine.eu operation based in Celle, just north of Hanover.
	Daniela Selbach - Partner Daniela has a strong background in Food and Beverage Management, Catering as well as Hotel Management and has actively been involved with eWine since inception. Her easy-going and bubbly personality is quite contagious around the office.
	Inez von Hessert - Sales and Marketing eWine GmbH Inez started at eWine in October 2008. She spent the first 6 months living and working at eWine in Paarl learning about South Africa and more importantly, South African Wine. She is based in Celle, Germany, and works with Jochen at eWine.eu. If she is not tasting or talking South African wine you will find her walking Casey (her beloved dog) or listening to a huge mp3 collection.
	Chris Wyrembeck - Financial Accounting eWine GmbH
	Louis Ferreira - Partner eWine South Africa Studied law at the University of Pretoria in the 90's. The plan was to specialise in e-commerce law after graduating, but an opportunity was presented to work for an online retailer based in Paarl. In the end, the e-commerce idea floated but not the law. If he is not tasting wine or developing a killer app then you will most likely find him mountain biking, spearfishing or cruising the winelands tasting wine and food.
	Mariza Jacobs - Admin Mariza joine eWine in May 2009 and is responsible for everything Admin related. She has been involved in the wine industry for 4 years and has a real passion for excellent service. She loves Shiraz / Viognier blends.
	Natalie Visser - Office Manager Natalie has many years experience in Hospitality and knows what it means to give great service. Her friendly personality and positive attitude are here most valued character traits. She is the first port of call when contacting eWine. Sauvvy is her weekness.
	Ryno Engelbrecht - Content Administrator Ryno joined the team in February 2009 and is responsible for website administration. Ryno is also in charge of our social initiatives which lie close to our hearts. Quite a big responsibility which he is performing very well for us.
	Sarah-Jane Visagie - Content Editor Studied web development and joined eWine in September 2006. SJ completed a few wine courses at the Cape Wine Academy and really enjoys South African Wine, which as you would imagine, is a pre-requisite for working at eWine. SJ is not fond of Pinotage though.... but we are working on that.
