Description
De Trafford Chenin Blanc is David's interpretation of South Africa's most widely grown grape variety. Hand -harvested, -sorted, -pressed, -filled and -labeled!
The label motif changes with each vintage and is designed by David's lovely wife Rita.
Bright, medium yellow color. Beeswax and ripe lemon nose with hints of spice and dried apricot.
Rich, expressive palate with full creamy texture and complex flavors that linger for some time.

| Barrel maturation | The fermentation commenced with natural yeasts and took approximately three weeks to complete. The wines spent nine months in used 400L barrels on the gross lees with regular lees stirring. The wine underwent partial malolactic fermentation. |
